Awen Tree Consultancy, Arboricultural, Ecological & Horticultural Services (ATC) is based in Highland Perthshire in Scotland and offers arboricultural and horticultural advice, surveys and management plans. To contact ATC please click here.

ATC provides diverse services to a wide range of clients including developers, home owners, private estates, architects and estate agents. These include survey reports for tree safety, root protection and mortgages, as well as applications to the council for tree works or removal in conservation areas, or for trees which are protected with a tree preservation order. Further services include heritage garden research and the identification of plants, pests, diseases and fungi.

ATC, an independent business under the sole proprietorship of Ormungandr, is not affiliated with any tree surgery businesses or arboricultural contractors. This helps to avoid unnecessary tree work, the associated expense of corrective work, and damage to or unnecessary removal of healthy trees. ATC is ecologically orientated with a view to supporting ecosystem resilience and looking to the needs of future nature. All work is undertaken according to the ethics and current best practice as set out by the Arboricultural Association and the British Standards Institution.
